Driving and texting

This is an ad from NRMA Insurance about the dangers of driving and texting. The listening activity is suitable for Básico 2 and Intermediate 1 students.

Self-study activity:
First watch the video through and enjoy it, trying to understand as much as possible.

FOR EVERY TEXT YOU READ OR WRITE, YOU LOOK AT YOUR PHONE 5 TIMES WHILE DRIVING. THAT MEANS YOU TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE ROAD FOR 1.4 SECONDS EVERY TIME YOU LOOK.

AT 60 KILOMETRES AN HOUR, THAT'S 22 METRES OF ROAD YOU DON'T SEE.


Never, ever, text and drive.
